Hit a brick wall researching my gtgtgt grandpa Alexander Paterson.
married in Cupar to Elizabeth Shepherd in 1812 but his death announced in Ceres parish records in 1834 but no trace of where buried.
His wife's death noted in Cupar parish records in 1838 again no trace of where buried-where to next? anybody help?

My great grandfather was James Forgan, wife Margaret H Forgan, children James (jr). CAtherine Hester, Arthur Herbert George Forgan , Henry P Forgan, William Robert Forgan, Amy Janet, Christian (f).
Son, Henry Petheram Forgan, purchased the property in 1927. It then passed to another brother, Robert William Forgan, who died in 1965.
I am trying to trace back from James Forgan born around 1805.

Trying to follow up on some limited info regarding John Moffat who is recorded in the 1851 census as being a grocer/draper at the "Shore" in Burntisland. He was married to a Jessie Anderson and the marriage took place in 1851.Any information would help even where "Shore" was in Burntisland.

What a wonderful site . I have been doing my family tree and came across this site by accident . I am a Blyth Des .I am looking for records of Andrew Blyth Born 1744 ,William Blyth Born 1801 and died 1877 In Balmerino .William was married to Ann Graham who was born 1799 and died 1855. I an not sure if these are correct .James Blyth Williams son came out to Western Australia so time He was born 1811 or 12. Recently purchased interesting cabinet card size photo of group of (servants/workmen) seven women, ten men, taken outside of (manor house)? in or near Kirkcaldy. Photo was by Thomas Taylor who had studio at 481 High Street, Kirkcaldy, as advertised on back. Circa 1880's -90's.
The women are dressed in various modes of maids outfits, and some of the the men are holding different tools of trade.
Would love to share image, and find out any information of possibly where location of house.
