Along with my brothers, I was placed in the Martha Frew Home several times. I am researching the history of Keavil House and especially the time it was used as a Children's Home. Does anyone know of a Councillor who may have been involved in the closure of the home. There sadly seems to be no records traced concerning the Home. Should you know of any pointers for me please let me know.

Thank you to all those who read my previous message regarding the search for my g grandfather Charles Fyfe. With the help of the Alness Service Point Officer I have finally located two unmarked lairs belonging to the Fyfe family. I hope to be able to mark these gravesites next time I am in the UK.

My 5xgreatgrandparents were Allexander TYRIE and Jean BRIDIE who married on 24th Dec 1769 at College Kirk, Edinburgh. They then lived in Monimail raising their family. Their son Charles TYRIE then moved to London and was a cooper. Is anyone else working on these familes?

I have come into some photographs and documents belonging to a Kirkcaldy Man John King I do know from his papers he was born in Poland in 1921 John King is his naturalised name and he died in Preston Lancs in 1980.He lived in links street Kirkcaldy and Masserene Road circa 1950s/ 60s.He was married with I think 4 children if any of his family want the papers and photographs please let me know.

I'm searching for the burial place of my g grandfather Charles Fyfe who died Alness 3 Dec 1904, his wife Mary Fyfe (Muir) who died Alness 21 Sep 1916, and son Charles Fyfe who died Aberdeen 5 Mar 1943. I have searched the Alness cemetery to no avail and hope they are all laid to rest somewhere in Dysart/Kirkcaldy area. Can anyone help me?
